Alberto Vazquez
(President / Artistic Producing Director)
has worked forty nine years in show business as an actor, teacher, writer, director and producer. He is president of the recently formed entertainment company named, Latin From Manhattan Productions.
As an actor he has performed on stage, soap operas, film and episodic television (100 credits) and over (70 credits) on-camera and print commercials.
In April 2000, Alberto signed with the prestigious literary agent, Robert Freedman Dramatic Agency, Inc. He was the first minority and Latin person of color signed for literary representation in the screenplay department.
A 1997 finalist in the Writers Network Competition.

LGBTQ was selected as one of the best screenplays out of 700 (146 finals pool) entries at the New York Script Awards February 2022.
LGBTQ Honorable Mention status in The Wiki Screenplay Contest March 2022. Honorable Mention Laurels received.
The 65th Regiment Infantry Semi-Finalist in The Wiki Screenplay Contest March 2022. Also, he was offered to publish The 65th screenplay by Fleas On The Dog, February 2024 for the May 2024 Issue 16.
LGBTQ is currently (February) a 2020 a quarterfinalist (2782 entries – 303 finalists).

Myrta Vida (Meer-Tah Vee-Dah) earned her MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Missouri –St. Louis (UMSL), & is a Third World Newsreel Fellow (TWN, 2022). Born & raised in Puerto Rico, Ms. Vida’s also a decorated U.S. Army Veteran.
She’s a Producer for 3DMC, the Production Company for the award-winning Independent Films: ‘tangerine’, ‘The Florida Project’, ‘The Infiltrators’, & ‘Premature’.
Ms. Vida’s Feature Screenplay, ‘What The Boy Couldn’t Say’, placed TOP 10% at the 2021 ACADEMY NICHOLL Fellowship Screenplay Competition.
Her Short Documentary ‘Second Responders’ was an OFFICIAL NOMINEE at both the Diversity in Cannes Short Film Showcase (2021) & HBO’s Official Latino Film Festival (2021), & a Dr. Abigail Disney’s Fork Films GRANT WINNER (2021).
Ms. Vida’s Short Thriller ‘Endlich’, was a WINNER at Out of The Can International Film Festival -UK (2021), a NOMINEE at the Seattle Film Festival (2021), & a SEMI-FINALIST at the Austin Arthouse Film Festival (2021).
Since 2010, she’s been a Story Consultant & Script Doctor for Independent Filmmakers all over the world, & has led Writing & Production workshops in English & Spanish for disenfranchised communities. Ms. Vida currently serves as Faculty at the New York Film Academy (NYFA) & is a Board Member for its Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Council (DEI).
